It is a private school and receives no government support. This endowment fund is established as a means of providing funding for the education of future generations of children in this poor community. The school will eventually include pre-school through high school and will provide quality education for over 700 children. SCHOOL VISION

The vision of New Horizons School is to raise up a new generation of leaders.  Those who will practice integrity and honesty guided by Biblical principles and the Holy Spirit.

Children in the school receive a strong academic background through the use of the advanced Christian curriculum Abeka Book.  In addition to the normal courses they receive training in English, computers, and Christian living.  They also receive free physical exams as well as vision and dental checks.  The director of the school, missionary Sue Givens, has over 25 years experience as a teacher and school administrator.  The regular curriculum teachers are all qualified Christian teachers from Paraguay.  Missionaries from the States help in teaching English.
