Director's Project -Each year the school directors in Paragaguay need to select a project that benefits the school and the community. For the 2003 school year Sue Givens and her staff selected "Development of the Library". Johanna Waltz started thre library a few years ago with missionaries carrying a few Spanish books at a time in their suitcases to Paraguay. Books are now more readily available and with many donations plus the sale of typical items to work teams and in US churches along with the help of donations from Latin America Mission the school library has grown to close to 2000 books. The library is open to the children, their families, members of the church, and for general public. Public libraries are scare in Paraguay so this is a real blessing to many as we have topics ranging from children's books, general education and resource materials to adult Christian books helping families with their spiritual growth and raising a family.
