Special Shipment to Paraguay Instruction Sheet

This is being made possible through the Denton Project- a US military transport plane will transport items to non-profit third world countries. We tried participating in this project in 2001 but it did not happen. However, now God has opened the door for us to participate.

For our school, other schools we are assisting, and for other ministry needs, Please follow these instructions to donate items to be shipped to Paraguay:

The items that we can accept need to be new or almost new and in excellent condition and include the following:

All items must have a packing slip with an inventory of the contents plus a copy of the packing slip needs to be emailed to: Sheri Bitzan and to Sue Givens.

The packing slip must be marked: Donation to Sue Givens-Horizon School.

All items with shipping paid should be sent to:

Budde Trucking
Attention: Sheri Bitzan PPP
34082 Char Avenue
Avon Minnesota 56310

Once they ship the box/s they should notify Sheri at sbitzan@albanytel.com to alert her that there has been something shipped to the warehouse at Budde Trucking. If the donor could give Sheri an estimated time of arrival for the shipment, that would be super.

All Communications must be done only by email.

ALL ITEMS MUST BE REGISTERED
VIA E-MAIL WITH SHERI BY MAY 15, 2009

ALL ITEMS MUST ARRIVE AT THE
WAREHOUSE BY MAY 30, 2009.

Please note: In order to be included the items must be submitted to customs and for US military approval by May 15, 2009.

It will take the government sometime to complete all the paperwork so we are not exactly sure when we will receive the shipment but probably within two or four months.

Just a note, we received 14 of our 16 pallets without any problems. The other two pallets are due to be shipped in April or May. This is such a blessing for us and our ministries.

For more information or if you have questions, please contact Sue Givens sue@paraguayschools.org

Suggested List of Items ***
For the May 15, 2009 Denton* Transport

*** Unfortunately, we cannot accept any foods, medicines, Christian literature, Bibles, or clothing with this shipment, but we are able to receive these items when short-term teams visit or through financial donations.

Denton Transport is named after Senator Denton who wrote legislation to permit Military Vehicle as space permits to transport humanitarian aid to third world countries. All items must be given to non-profit agencies. Sheri Bitzan is a local Minnesota resident who donates her time to coordinate the transport for many agencies in Paraguay including ours.
