May the Joy of Christmas Abound in Your Hearts this Holiday Season!

December 2003
As we approach the holiday season and reflect on the Year 2003, I am counting my many blessings and you have been such a blessing to me personally and to the people of Paraguay. I count it an honor and a privilege to serve our King and He has multiplied every donation, every gift, and act of kindness. Thank you so much for your prayers and financial support, which has enabled me to serve in this special assignment of God's.
Let me give a quick accounting of what the Lord has done since last year at this time:
- The school construction is officially complete…there are still a few details that need to accomplished. This was made possible through many people's gifts of time, talents, and financial donations.
- We had 183 children in the school plus another two hundred or so children, youth and adults studying computer education, English, learning to read, and participating in special classes and chapel services.
- Last year we were able to give out food baskets to hundreds of people; provide food for the church camp; and purchased over three hundred and fifty shirts for the school and Sunday School children and adults.
- Through the work fund gifts and extra monies from my monthly support, we have been able to help 10 different children, youth, and adults receive education in the areas of special education, high school, and dentistry.
- We have provided special evangelistic activities to share Jesus for children and adults in the school, in the two Sunday Schools, and for hundreds in the community.
- Thanks to personal support monies, I have been able to keep my car running which has helped in the: "Calling for Hauling" ministry of shuttling children from distant barrios weekly to Sunday School; transporting hundreds back and forth to different church services and activities; and being able to run errands for the school.
- Thanks to everyone who has donated books or funds for our library; office and school supplies and equipment; clothing to distribute; medicines and medical supplies; dental equipment and supplies; and so much more.
The Paraguay Outreach is truly a team effort, and I want to personally thank you for your help, your love for the Paraguayan people and your willingness to share Christ with the world. May the Lord richly bless you now and forevermore.
Love
