2004 Mission Teams:

On March 7, 2004 a Mission Team from Fairview UMC in Maryville, TN... the home of SAMARITAN HANDS.. and Mable Love-Brown (Child Sponsor Coordinator) will travel to Paraguay. If you have letters/photos/small gifts that you would like Mable to take to the child/children you sponsor, please send them to her by March 1, 2004. Remember space is limited.

The dental team from Noblesville IN helped hundreds of people with Dental problems. For the teams dedication, hard work, and corny jokes, they Got dubbed the Mash Unit of Paraguay. Mark Waltz is assisted by short-term missionary, Rob, in finding eye glasses as part of the Glasses for the Masses program.

Our first Work Team was from Frazer UMC in Montgomery, Alabama. What a wonderful blessing they were to so many. The Frazer UMC team helped with brick laying, moving mud and sand, chiseling cement,putting in the septic tank, and so much more

News from Sue's March 22,2002 newsletter: Sunday, a work team from Penn. visited our school and attended our Sunday school and church service. The group brought t-shirts and helped the Sunday school children paint on them. The children have been so excited as they explain the significance of their shirts and how Christ died for them.and the timing is perfect with Easter next week. All week throughout the barrio, I have seen children wearing their shirts.what a blessing for the children and a great testimony for our Lord.a special thanks to our friends in PA.
